The Food/Mood Connection - Eating for Energy!

I'm so excited for this event...

Spring Rejuvenation, Networking, and Meaningful Conversations paired with healthy nibbles, flavorful food, and some surprise dessert treats!  Graciously hosted by Renée Mitchell, Sales & Design Manager at Jewett Farms + Co (, you will learn about how food affects your mood.  I’ve invited Janelle D. Casella, MA, CHHC, a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach from Perfectly Nourished ( ) to lead the discussion.  She'll educate us on how to experience a big shift in your energy and attitude when you regulate your mood via nutrition.  You’ll understand how to shift your choices and make little changes.  Janelle plans to spend time covering "Three Tips to Eat for Energy" and "Six Nutrients We Need to Feel Good"!

Being that I LOVE food, I am making a yummy healthy dish to share with all of you, and Renée and Janelle are also treating us to some healthy bites and divine dessert treats!  To quench your thirst, we will have a special lemonade, a springtime cocktail,  and an infused lemon cucumber ginger mint water - also known as "flat tummy water".

As always, we will have plenty of time to introduce ourselves and our businesses and support you by offering encouragement in moving your dreams to reality.

Your "at-the-door" donation will be used to cover administrative costs and to continue to support the two charitable organizations that are encouraging and empowering women via a group donation:  For Such A Time Ministries and The Disha Foundation:  and If you are a member of the DWC Meetup, it will be 50% fee ($12.50) at the door.  If you are not a member, then the Meetup Fee for this event is $25.

We will have a few raffles and you will also receive a "goody" bag!

You won’t want to miss this event! RSVP and come dine and chat.  Of course, feel free to invite your inner circle…

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
