Welcome Dachshund Owners!

Meet fellow Dachshunds and Dachshund Owners near you!

We plan to start with one Meetup a month on the second Sunday at 1:00 for play, fun, socialization and whatever the members of the group may desire for their Dachshunds. Bring your ideas for activities, discussion topics.

Location will be at Best Friends Pet Care off 275 at the Montgomery Road/ Morrow exit #50.

Longhaired, Smooth or Wirehaired; miniature or standard, all breeds of Dachshunds and people are welcome!

As a member of this meetup, you must adhere to the following safety precautions:
- Please make sure your Dachshund is up to date of his/her vaccinations.
- Please make sure your Dachshund is healthy enough to attend a meetup.
- Please do not bring small children to the meetup.
- If you bring an older child, please advise him/ her NOT to pick up any dogs without the owners permission.
- Please do not bring any dog less than 4 months of age. Please visit the puppy socialization meetup for all dogs less than 4 months of age (also held at Best Friends Pet Care).
- If this is the first time your Dachshund is meeting other dogs in an off leash environment, please bring a leash to gradually introduce to Dachshund to other Dachshund's.
- Members of this meetup reserve the right to vote out any aggressive Dachshund that bites or injures another Dachshund (growling and some dominant behavior is normal).
- Owner's assume all responsibility and liability for their dog(s).
