Daisy's got her radar up and can hear the weekend sneakin' up on us.
Benson Farmer's Market
I thought I'd send out a head's up about a fun place to take the dogs on a Saturday morning! The Benson Farmer's Market runs every Sat morning from 8 am-1 pm, just north of Maple between 61st and 62nd on Military Ave. It's not a huge market, but it's a nice place to take a stroll and check out the goods.
Dapper Dog will be there with our new 4th of July fashions. If you want to get the wieners looking spiffy for the 4th, you might want to stop down and see the selection. As always, part of the proceeds goes to help needy dogs.
How patriotic do the boys look? Very dapper guys!
A new addition to the bandanas and ties....Daisy's Dahlias!
Hand sewn fabric flowers that velcro onto any collar. They fit any size dog, can be worn in the back, front or side. Doesn't Daisy look darling in her new Dahlia?
We have lots of bandanas, too, but after the photo shoot for the ties and flowers, the kids were done for the day!
So stop down and see us at the Benson Farmer's Market this Saturday!!!
A very important question!
Looking at the calendar, and at my schedule, this Sunday seems to be the best day to do a Weenie Walk. We were thinking about taking a stroll around the lovely Elmwood Park and then stopping over at the Farmer's Market at Aksarben on the way home. We would schedule for morning, like 9 am. while it's still somewhat cool.
My question, is anyone interested in and/or can come to a Weenie Walk this Sunday, June 23?
If I get some response, I'll schedule it and announce it. So if you really want to go, please let me know asap. :)
Have a good one!

PS As always, there is Yappy hour downtown at T Henry's Pub on both Sat and Sunday! So if you prefer to go indoors for a little beverage to stay cool with the pooches, it's a fun place to stop in and cool off for a bit!
Just ask Anna and Dixie! They stopped by last month and checked out some of the young pups....hee hee!
