The Dallas Area Bipolar Meetup Group is a social support system for people who are diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Our purpose is to offer our members the opportunity to meet for support and to socialize with others living with Bipolar Disorder. We hope to offer support for people who have just been diagnosed and also those who have had the disorder for years.

We usually meet once or twice per month on Saturdays for lunch or dinner and sharing in different locations in the Dallas area. We also have a message board that is always available. During the meetups and on the discussion boards we consider Bipolar Disorder and how it affects our lives. We also share our personal journeys, offer positive reinforcement to one another, and cooperate in a supportive environment.

We also have an extensive library of scholarly articles which thoroughly describe every aspect of Bipolar Disorder. To access the library, click on the "More" button on the top of this web
page. Then click on the “Files” button.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
