What we’re about

The Dallas Atheist Book Club is a place for freethinkers (atheists, agnostics, skeptics, secularists, etc.) to read and to engage in lively discussion about books relating to atheism, free thought, science, history, governance, biography, psychology, philosophy, and some fiction.

Membership is open to anyone. It is not necessary to identify as a non-believer to participate. There are no dues. Membership is free. However, if you would like to voluntarily contribute a few dollars to help offset the $112/semi-annual cost of Meetup.com fees it would be appreciated. There is a donation link below labeled "Fundraising" for that purpose. Or you may contribute directly via Venmo to the group organizer or in person at a meeting.

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM for the book review.

There is also a secondary social meeting two weeks after every book discussion to continue any conversation topics or to engage in friendly social engagement.

Please check the group's calendar for an update list of events. The "Pages" tab on the group's Meetup site also has lots if information as well as a list of past, present and future books.
