We are going to join the Greater Dallas Bicyclist Club Ride for a combined group ride through Highland Park to see the Christmas lights.

Here is the email from Mike Eipper, who is organizing the club ride.
This is a FUN ride, and with early scouting behind us, the lights promise to be better than ever in the Park Cities area this year!
The ride is very slow (10mph or less), and we’ll cover about 15-18 miles total…..Ken always does a fabulous job of finding the ‘good stuff’ for us to gawk at…Bring plenty of loud ‘Ooohs and Ahhhs’……! Lets’ let the Park Cities residences know we appreciate what we see!
Also, dressing for this ride is different. Check the temps, then dress like you’re just going to sit out in the weather, as we just don’t work up that much body heat on this ride…! Kind of backwards from normal cold weather rides…If you’re not comfy warm at the start, you probably are not wearing enough stuff!
The ride will be held rain or no rain…..’Shine’ does not apply, as it’ll already be dark…;-)
And, remember! Dress up the bike…! Lights! Trim! Flashy things! Lots of noise!

PLEASE NOTE:This is a Greater Dallas Bicyclist Club Ride, and Club Rules must be followed: No earphones allowed, bike must have light, and MUST have a helmet to ride..
We are encouraging all our meetup members to dress up their bikes with lights and decorations. Best of our meetup group will win a special prize. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
