Are you a freelance journalist living in the Dallas area? Are your eyes glazing over from staring at the computer all day? Need to get out of the house and meet some fun people for networking, mutual advice and support, and just general chat? That's what this group is about.

Networking is key to the life of a freelance journo - you never know what great advice, or even gigs, a fellow freelancer might be able to offer. To keep this group focused on its stated purpose, we require members to say a few words about what they write and where their work has been published. That's not to say novices are not welcome; but please only join if you are serious about making a living (or at least making money) from freelance JOURNALISM (not fiction, poetry, etc).

Thanks and hope to meet you all soon!
