-I understand Michael, and appreciate all that you do. I have a hard time attending on Saturdays. Just my week end schedule that doesn't usually allow for that. I made a point of attending one meet and was impressed and met some nice people. Perhaps as my schedule changes, I'll be able to attend more. Thanks for your good work on this. Lately there have been people leaving positive event feedback, but then only rating it 4 stars. Or saying they have a good time, but knocking a star off the rating because of things out of my control such as the air temperature or tables we eat at.
To be clear - these ratings affect the future of our group, and the ability to receive publicity on meetup to help our group grow. Accordingly, we need to have 5 star ratings for Meetup.com to allow this.
Please - I volunteer my personal time and money to keep this group going (a big thank you to those that donate to help cover some group costs). If you can't bring yourself to rate our events 5 stars, please send me an email outlining what the issue was and refrain from rating the event.
This may sound a bit rude - but a member (former) once told me he will never rate any event 5-stars no matter how great it was because he "was fundamentally against ever giving someone/something the highest rating". I informed him that with all the effort put into making this group a success if he couldn't bring himself to add another star to his rating, that I suggest he find another group to shoot with. It's a simple request, folks.
