The Next Mobile Experience by Sung Kim

Here is your chance to see one of the best talks from the Big Design Conference last year. Sung Kim will be talking about The Next Mobile Experience. Here is how Sung describes it:

We are still using our mobile devices the way we used to on old computers with a mouse – limiting our experiences to mostly scrolling up, down, left, and right in a grid or list views and having to tap on tiny buttons to initiate some of the most basic functions. I'd like to introduce a new set of mobile conventions based on simple gestures and fluid structures that can truly take advantage of today's touchscreen capabilities.

You will not want to miss this talk!

About Sung Kim

We are very proud that Sung ran a very successful Kickstarter campaign. And, Sung was selected as one of "The 75 Best Designers In Technology" by Business Insider. Previously, Sung has done design work for a number of Fortune 500 companies. He was the lead designer for the latest Sam's Club Android app, Bud Light's first touchscreen site, and Joinred.com in 2008, which was lauded by Bono as the best presentation he's ever seen. Also he was responsible for optimizing the 7-Eleven.com interior pages and restructuring the Fedex Office Workstation login process that's currently being used nationwide. Sung is currently a senior designer at Rockfish Interactive and the head of UX & Design at Prulu, a Q&A site for higher education. You can see his portfolio at pixeldicking.com.

Yes I did but a few slides had some private information which the speaker does want to release in public yet. So I will be working with the speaker to remove those few parts and then upload the video on YouTube.

Sorry, can't make it to this one, so I'm freeing up my seat. My wife is about to have our fourth child, so we are trying to cram in as many date nights as we can before we are neck-deep in diapers. :)
