In this talk we'll learn about how DoneJS, the successor of JavaScriptMVC - one of the first client side JavaScript frameworks - can be used to build real-time high-performance web, desktop and mobile applications.
We'll build a fast, real-time single page chat application with DoneJS and talk about:
• Server side rendering/Isomorphic JS
• Progressively loading optimized bundles
• Use of content delivery networks (CDNs)
• Desktop and mobile application builds

Hailing from Bavaria and now living in Vancouver, Canada, David is a JavaScript consultant at Bitovi where he helps companies like Walmart, SamsClub or Mindjet bring their frontend to the next level. As a long time open source contributor he currently maintains projects like CanJS, DoneJS and FeathersJS.
