We are currently closed for new members. We deliberately keep our writing group small, so that each of us has a chance to critique and be critiqued. We meet every Thursday night. We are looking for fiction writers who are serious about their craft. You don't need a ton of experience, but you do need to be serious about your writing and working toward publication (new writers welcome - you don't have to be published to join). You will be expected to both show up to critique work and submit your own work on a regular basis. \
We accept all fiction writers, except erotic -- and torture porn involving lobsters and mermaids (talk about a flooded market). And any story where the protagonist wakes up at the end and it's all a dream. And stuff about Unicorns named Charlie. Otherwise, everything is acceptable. (Oh, sorry, also no stories about serial killers that like "I Love Genie" re-runs. Just a personal thing with us. If the serial killer likes Matlock reruns, we can talk.)
