It's that time of year again when all of the little ballerinas dream of Christmas and the Nutcracker. Well this not so young former ballerina can't wait for Christmas and to see the wonderful holiday classic The Nutcracker.

Marching toy soldiers, waltzing snowflakes, mischievous mice and Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score are quintessential hallmarks of the holidays. Celebrate the season with Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre's presentation of The Nutcracker, a holiday ballet for the whole family. The Nutcracker tells the story of young Clara, who receives a gift of a wooden nutcracker doll at her parents' Christmas party. That night, she dreams her nutcracker comes to life and together they battle the wicked Rat King and journey through an enchanted forest of snow to reach the Kingdom of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy and all her sweet subjects await them.
