In this wholly original performance combining dance, music, theatrics and poetry, a pair of passionate works by thriller authors Edgar Allan Poe and Clive Barker are brought to vivid life on stage by David Wilkinson's Astra Dance Company. The evening begins with a dance dramatization of Barker's poem "I Dreamed I Spoke Another Language," followed by a performance of Poe's classic 1842 short story Eleonora, a romance about lost love, a broken promise and forgiveness from beyond the grave.
