WHY JAN 20

Occupy SF is coordinating a a peaceful day of mass occupations centered in San Francisco’s Financial District. Many creative actions will be happening, including the One People flash mob.

Building off great success of our Nov. 19th performance, we'll gather again to perform at lunch time and invite new dancers to join us.

REHEARSALS
Wed Jan 11th and Jan 18th at 5:30-7pm at Sweets Ballroom right before ecstatic dance.

SCHEDULE JAN 20
ARRIVAL 11am SHARP: final rehearsal starts at Rincon Park on The Embarcadero, near Folsom (park with huge Bow and Arrow sculpture where we met on Nov. 19).

PERFORMANCE: Noon. The exact location will be revealed closer to the performance.

The more the merrier. We had 100 dancers last time. Can we double that ? This will be reaching the media everywhere. It's both fun, meaningful and has already inspired over 140,000 people worldwide.

WHY THIS MASS OCCUPATION?

• Corporations are NOT people, Money is NOT speech. January 20 is the eve of the anniversary of the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling for corporate personhood.
• To expose how Wall St. endangers our communities, homes, education, environment, democracy, livelihood, and well being.
• To broaden, mobilize, and assert the people power of the 99% movement and its allies.
• To stop big banks from foreclosing and evicting our homes.
