With Bold Danes... near Mt Baldy

This is an easy-to-moderate ~7 mi hike with about 1,300f elevation gain to reach the summit. But as we did last time, we will only go as far as we want to, to enjoy the scenery and let our pups play.

The trail primarily ascends a north-facing slope, and with a lot of shade, it can be doable even on warm days, especially with an early start.

A National Forest Service ADVENTURE PASS ($5 per day or $30 for the year) is required for parking. Click HERE (http://www.myscenicdrives.com/store/item/forest-passes/southern-california/annual) to purchase, or get it at a sports goods store. I highly recommend getting it in advance.
