Okay.  Let's face it.  New Yorkers are broke.  Truly, eternally broke.  And we stay (and play) here, wallowing in our eternal brokeness.  Now don't get me wrong.  I Heart New York City BIG TIME!  In addition to being, ridiculously expensive we live in a highly entertaining, massively fun, hugely AMAZING city.  And, this my lovelies, is exactly why we stay. And play.  And LOVE our city!

Enter the Daily Deal.  I'm talking Groupon, Zozi, Lifebooker. I'm thinking PopSugar, Gilt City & BuyWithMe.  And don't even get me started with the travel sites: Jetsetter, SniqueAway and Vacationist! My, oh, my! I'll be honest, I haven't paid full price for a dinner, a spa treatment or a vacation in too long to tell.  So, I got to thinking, how about not paying full price for anything with all of YOU?!  Get where I'm going with this? *wink*

The concept: To host events based on deals offered by the various sites scattered about the web. To participate in the events, you don't have to buy the voucher, but why wouldn't you want to? Save some money, honey!  All of these sites have been vetted by me personally. I've bought, bought and bought some more, all in the name of thorough research for you.

One of the great things about Daily Deal sites is that they promote ideas that some of us have never even thought of.  They put restaurants on our radar that we didn't know existed.  They give us whimsy and fun to fill our days. They allow us to do things we otherwise might not be able to afford.  And do it in style. Love it! Are you with me?  Let's do this!
