Nothing about natural hair is new! There has always been ladies who choose to wear their hair in it's natural state. Many of those ladies were under the age of eight, or adults looked at as being different. Now a days, more and more African American women are leaving chemicals behind, and are on a journey back to natural. Some in society view this change of phenomenal numbers as temporary, they believe in a few months or years we will all revisit chemicals. These individuals are going to be devastated, because we are natural and we are here to stay! NATURAL HAIR IS NOT A TREND! Since many of us are new to being natural, we need a place where we can get together monthly to discuss natural hair. How do we take care of it? What products do we use? Many of us are starting from scratch, and plan to help each other grow long healthy hair. I am sure we have loads to share.
