Aaron will present an overview of NoSQL technologies, including Apache Accumulo, and compare and contrast with each other as well as more traditional databases. Talk will relate technologies to high level mission and business outcomes, and diving into technical details is an option.
Aaron Cordova has worked in the field of scalable distributed architectures for the last 10 years. At the NSA Aaron founded the Apache Accumulo project and has helped organizations in various industries build scalable data analysis capabilities as a consultant, and now as CTO and co-founder of Koverse Inc. Aaron has expertise in traditional databases, NoSQL databases, and is constantly learning new frameworks for scalable data processing as the ecosystem grows.
