Intro to Hadoop components and distributions

Have you tried to understand Hadoop and run into dozens of different modules and various distributions but don’t know how to decode what things are with terms like “Pig, Zookeeper, Ambari, YARN, etc?”. This session will be a basic overview of the Hadoop ecosystem, what the components are and how they work together as well as demystifying the differences in some of the most commonly used Hadoop distributions. This is a beginner level summary to help people get started on their own research by better understanding the framework.
