Code Artistry

  • February 26, 2014 · 6:30 PM

This will be a record, announcing less than one week before an event, I'll have to normalize attendance numbers for the lead time!

This Wednesday nclud & DVDC are happy to host Scott Murray, @alignedleft, presenting:

Whatever Happened to “Augmenting Human Intellect”?

Scott Murray is a code artist who writes software to create data visualizations and other interactive phenomena. His work incorporates elements of interaction design, systems design, and generative art. Scott is an Assistant Professor of Design at the University of San Francisco, a contributor to Processing, and author of “Interactive Data Visualization for the Web: An Introduction to Designing with D3.”  His work can be seen at alignedleft.com.

Yeah, sometimes really interesting people are just passing through town. It would be nice if we had more of a heads up, but it's also nice that we find out in the first place!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
