Data Journalism #2

Details

Data Visualization DC is proud to produce Round 2 of Data Journalism for 2014! In his own words, our moderator Adam Zuckerman (http://uberstories.com/tag/adam-zuckerman/) summarizes nicely:

"Traditionally, journalists have sourced stories via relationships and working the streets. Today, however, news unfolds differently. As such, the ability to decipher and interpret large sets of information to uncover, better explain and/or provide context to a news story is becoming an important mechanism for differentiation between professional journalists and the average person on the street with a smartphone.

This panel will delve in to the implications and effect of how data and technology is changing the journalist landscape and ecosystem."

Moderator: Adam Zuckerman, Founder of Fosterly (http://uberstories.com/tag/adam-zuckerman/)
