Please join us for Data Potluck #7, where we have a table decked full of great talks, great company of analysts, developers, and non-profit data partners, as well as another belly full of home cooking.

Data Driven Infographics Fellow Lucky, Elizabeth Fosslien will be giving a talk on both presentation and being flexible and creative with data analysis. Not sure what Randori style Mob coding is? Relax, we'll give you a gentle introduction. We'll pick a messy dataset from the data portal and look at a few ways that cleanse it with OpenRefine, download your free copy of this power tool here: http://openrefine.org/ Open Floor: We'll be saving most of the evening for making connections, talking about developing data, and crafting projects in two Randori style groups. Elisabeth Fosslien has worked in the Optimization Team at Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett and as an analyst in the financial and economic consulting industries. She graduated with a degree in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College in 2009. Elisabeth will spend the next months interning at a startup foundry before attending Stanford GSB in the fall. In her spare time, she embarks upon various forms of data visualization.

Young-Jin Kim is the co-founder of DataPotluck. He's a recovering physicist who founded Emphanos, a technology consulting company that specializes in delivering open source goodness to the non-profit and government sector. He is actively and passionately involved in the Drupal and CiviCRM community.
