Details

Please join us for our third DataPotluck!

Rough and flexible agenda:

Food! Either: Bring a dish or food item to share, OR Bring a few dollars to contribute if you're strapped for time, or volunteer to cook for the next meetup Nick and Young-Jin will cook up extra veggie-friendly plates to share for the crowd and there will be wine! Rountable Who's here, why, and how do you want to get involved? Talking tools, data sources and data: As mentioned last time, we’re excited to have Derek Eder from Open City apps (http://opencityapps.org/) giving a lightning talk about data visualization tools, specifically D3 (http://d3js.org/) Matt Gee, co-founder of the Center for Impact Measurement at the University of Chicago will give a short talk about their project model for engaging and working with non-profits Open floor for talking about developing data and crafting projects.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Note: Please RSVP 24 hours ahead of the meetup so that we prepare food and set up the room accordingly.
