Walking a Fine Line: Using Apache Spark and Cassandra

Details

For this meetup we are excited to be joined by Kerri Turski, Curriculum Developer for DataStax.

What You'll Learn At This Meetup:

You’ve been logging your steps, now what? Take a peek behind the healthcare curtain to see what your insurer is most likely doing with your step data. See how this can add up to some pretty significant savings for customers, employers and the IT group previously responsible for those ETL jobs!

*A big thank you to iovation Inc. team for hosting! Food and drinks will be served, hope to see you all there!

*There is still time to get tickets to Cassandra Summit 2016! Be sure to use the code MeetupPromo for 15% off your ticket! Full details here. (http://bit.ly/1YFUsXY)

About Kerri Turski:

Kerri Turski is a Curriculum Developer for Datastax. She has over 15 years of combined experience in development, IT management, architecture and passionately representing the voice of the customer, predominately in the healthcare insurance space. She holds a BFA in Visual Communications and a UConn MBA (Go Huskies!)

When she isn’t developing content for Datastax Academy she is usually found hiking the beautiful pacific northwest landscape with her obscenely cute Shiba Inu, Yuki. So Nature! Much Wow!
