Why: To help with the costs of maintaining the group on Meetup.com.
This group is for people in the San Diego area who work at night, swing shift in particular, or others who are available during the day (such as stay-at-home parents, retirees, or unemployed folks). Sometimes it's hard to maintain a satisfying social life when our work hours are opposite everyone else's. This Meetup is for people who want to enjoy activities in the daytime like movies, board games, brunch or just hanging out with a good cup of coffee and conversation. Most activities will be on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. This isn't a singles group, although everyone is welcome to join. The dues for the group are a donation of $5 per year, payable in person to Rachel or via PayPal.
