DEATH CAFE, Wed. Nov. 18, 2015

Details
What to look forward to:
Four people at each table with Nancy and Audrey, your co-hosts, floating between tables, jotting down "overheard nuggets." Come for the free-flowing conversation - without facilitators or agenda. You can count on a nice mix of ages, experiences, backgrounds, and so on.
Location:
Death Café meets at Hunan Manor, 339 Lexington between 39th-40th Street. In exchange for your PayPal payment of $11, we enjoy their private second floor space, endless pots of tea and small plates of savory foods, vegetable-noodle soup and fresh fruit. If you order beer, wine or sake or other dishes at Hunan Manor, that separate check is your responsibility.
Note: Hunan Manor's second floor is not handicapped-accessible.
No-Shows and Wanna-Be-There(s):
If you are not coming, even if it's a last minute decision, please have the courtesy of RSVP-ing "NO" on our Meetup.com page so your seat can be filled by someone who really wants to be here.
If you're looking for a Death Café closer to home (or a more structured version where the host leads the conversation), check out our Meetup page entitled "All NYC Death Cafés by Location (https://www.meetup.com/Death-Cafe-New-York-City/pages/All_Death_Caf%C3%A9s_in_NYC_by_Location)" to join Death Cafés located in other parts of the city.
Stuff people say at our Death Café:
Co-host Nancy Gershman travels from table to table to capture what people say, and puts it up on our Overheard Nuggets (https://www.meetup.com/Death-Cafe-New-York-City/pages/Overheard_Nuggets_at_Death_Caf%C3%A9_New_York_City) page. But if you hear some really memorable things at Death Café, please race home to write it down on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DeathCafeNYC). Or email (https://www.meetup.com/Death-Cafe-New-York-City/suggestion/) your hosts through Meetup.com so we can add them to our collection.

Make sure to visit and LIKE Death Café NYC on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DeathCafeNYC?fref=ts) so that these goodies float in your Timeline and you can share them with others.
