Isn't it about time we open the door to one of societies taboo topics?
Death Cafe is an open forum for the public to discuss any issues surrounding life and death. My goal is to have people comfortable with the topic. From the day we are born, this minute could be our last. We never know when death will come and being prepared and having the knowledge to make a individual choice is a gift.
WHAT did you say??!!! DEATH Cafe??!! Yes, you heard correctly. Be part of Nashville's first Death Cafe. Death Cafes are part of a global movement to provide a relaxed and nurturing place where people get together and talk about death and have coffee/tea and delicious food. The Death Cafe allows people to talk about death, but also sparks conversations about life. Death Cafes are not-for-profit and there is no cost to attend one (although purchase of a coffee and snack are encouraged to fully partake in the experience).
