Charleston in the Spring

Let's head over to Charleston, South Carolina in April to see and shoot all the historic sights. This will be a fun-filled two day or three day trip, depending on your availability. We will be posting a few itinerary items as we get closer to the day of the trip. When you RSVP, there is a question regarding which day you will arrive. Please give us an idea so we'll know when to expect you.

We have rooms for 45 people blocked in 2 hotels in North Charleston, close to the airport. Rates are $97 or $99 per night, depending on which hotel you book. All hotel information will be emailed to you when you RSVP that you wish to attend. You have until March 9 to make your reservation, but may cancel as late as April 18 with no penalty. Rooms include free breakfast, free parking, and free Wi-Fi.

Prices for the public parking lots in downtown Charleston are very reasonable. Also, some of the best venues for shooting are not in the downtown area and will require that we drive to them.

We have contacted the 21st Century Photography Meetup Group in Charleston and will be doing some shooting with their members, as well as having dinner with them on Saturday evening. 21st Century is a film and digital group, formed around the same time as the Decatur group, and has slightly fewer members than our group.
