How do you want to change the world?

If you like lively (and friendly!) debate, then this group is for you. We're planning something different than what most people think about when they hear the word "debate".

We organize informal and open debates that are engaging, friendly, and-- most importantly-- productive. We decide as group which controversial issues to tackle, with the intent of finding common ground and having a great time. To keep everyone on the same page, we literally map the debate out on large paper using post-it notes, markers, and stickers that say "Well done!". It's like arts and crafts class in 6th grade except that drinks are involved and no one needs a hall pass to go to the bathroom. Anyone can debate any topic.

We'll meet one weekday each month for a happy hour debate in the DC metro area. We will always be near a metro stop. If you've got any questions, feel free to send me an email.
