Introduction to storage technologies (NAS & SAN)

This meetup will begin with a crash course on NAS/SAN technologies, followed by building a NAS using Openfiler, and then finally testing / tuning performance. I've selected this as the topic for our first meetup because the NAS you build may become the cornerstone of your lab environment.
Along the way:
We'd also be interested in hearing about vulnerabilties and exploitation of SAN protocols (CIFS/NFS/iSCSI/FC/FCoE) . If you'd like to do some research and give a presentation on any SAN related technology please contact an organizer.
