I like VMware, you know what, I'd go as far to say that I love VMware. I like the software, I like books about VMware. I like Fusion, Workstation, ESXi. I like it soo much that I've never spent a moment outside of the VMware space looking at what the other guys are doing. Have you?

In this meetup I'd like to contrast & compare the features, performance, pricing, and finally' in the spriit of the group' the security mechanisms that are present in current virtualization platforms. I'll be bringing in a guest speaker on Microsoft Hyper-V to give a brief presentation on the technology. Of coarse nothing is better than hands on, so bring your laptop, desktop, server, nas if you've got it and lets see how it ticks under the hood.

There will be a brief presentationon security mechanisms within VMware, past VMware exploits, and then finally some hands on tinkering to see if we can break anything.
