This group is dedicated to all people suffering from depression who not only want to beat this disease, prevent relapses and learn to thrive again. The primary focus will be on fellowship in combination of physical, often outdoor activities, meditation and developing a healthy lifestyle. What we are NOT: This group is not intended or could ever replace treatment by a certified and competent mental health professional nor designed to replace treatment by medication and / or therapy. We support, learn from each other, recreate together, heal and learn new life skills. In return, when we have beaten this disease, we reach out to those in need and help others do the same, thereby completing the circle. Who should join: All those who are suffering from depression, regardless of age, gender, ethnic, sexual orientation and cultural background. What we do: We meet to exercise, meditate and to share tips and strategies for surviving, triumphing over our disease and learn to be at peace with who we are. We encourage each other to grow and to thrive and become healthy, growing and successful individuals again.
