MOONLIGHT PADDLE

Join us as we paddle into the sunset and then watch the moon rise at 8:09 p.m.. Shortly after the moon rises we'll paddle by its' light back to the put in. Delta Kayak Adventures will provide kayak, paddle and pfd. If you are new to paddling we suggest bringing a friend and paddling one of our stable double kayaks.

• $44 per person includes kayak, paddle, pfd, launch fee and me as your guide! Prepay via paypal to hold your spot.

• Bring your own boat and gear for $20 and I'll pay the launch fee.

• PFD must be worn at all times while on water

ONLY SEVERE WIND OR STORM WILL CANCEL - If paddle is cancelled due to weather you may choose a refund or credit towards another paddle.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

HEADLAMP – we suggest the type that has an optional red LED. Bugs are not attracted to red. The moon should provide plenty of light to paddle by but if we encounter other boats the Coast Guard requires lights to be used as a signal to other boaters.

Wear fleece, polyester or synthetic quick drying clothing. NO COTTON! You may want a light jacket such as a windbreaker. We do not plan on swimming but you should always bring a towel and change of clothes to leave in your car in case you do get wet.

Footwear that can get wet.

Bring a light snack and plenty of water.
