I'm a Mom, a Pagan (of 24 years), a Ph.D. student, and have been in the Denton area for three years now. I was incredibly active in the Pagan community back home, organizing festivals, workshops, rituals, etc, and really missed having that kind of community around me when I arrived in Texas.
Some people have implied my past titles and activities are important. I promise you they aren't, but if you ask, I will wax poetic about the good old days and some of the trouble I've caused.
Dallas is fairly far to go for many people to find community, and I am looking for more than just open rituals to fulfill my social service component of my practice, so I created this group. This group is not tradition specific, and we try to meet fairly regularly. We welcome members of all traditions and all skill levels. We have been meeting socially and working on our skills together, sharing our journeys. We have hosted some open rituals, and members collaboratively offer their own events and rituals for the group as well.
I have recently added assistant organizers to the mix to help me while I recover from some personal stuff, and they are amazing folks. Be sure to thank them if you see them, and if you want to be one of them, let one of us know.
The direction of the group is up to us, we can do whatever we want, we have that kind of juju on our side. :) Events are designed to be kid and family friendly, everyone is welcome.
Membership is open to everyone

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
