Teva Mountain Games Mud Run!

Let's get a group together and head up to the Teva Mountain Games for the mud run!

No need to wake up early for this one, race doesn't start until 2:30 pm! Plus this in one of the less expensive races, $30/person. No group registration for this one, please register on your own if you plan to attend ($30 online/$40 onsite), http://www.tevamountaingames.com/summer/register.aspx.

The plan is to get up there a few hours before the race, check out a few of the others events and then run and get dirty! We will probably enjoy a cold beverage after the run so if you need to be back by a certain time, you may want to drive on your own.

If you would like to carpool, we will meet at the Wooly Mammoth PnR off of I-70 in Golden. When you pull in the lot, text/call me to find the group, (970) 685-2244. If you plan to attend this, please either be willing to chip in for gas or offer to drive.

The country's largest celebration of adventure sports, music, and the mountain lifestyle returns once again when The Teva Mountain Games returns to Vail, June 2-5, 2011.

Professional and amateur outdoor adventure athletes from the Vail Valley and around the world will converge upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in eight sports and 23 disciplines including: x-country, freeride, slopestyle and road cycling, freestyle, 8-Ball, sprint and extreme kayaking, raft cross, World Cup Bouldering, stand up paddle sprint and surf cross, as well as trail, mud and road running, dog comps and the GNC Ultimate Mountain Challenge.

In addition to the athletic events, the Teva Mountain Games will include a mountain photography competition, adventure film school, film festival, an interactive exhibition and demo area, live music, and mountain lifestyle parties.
