Members of Denver Day Hikers are not asked to pay a fee or to donate for attending events. But you understand that you will incur costs related to appropriate gear, gas/carpool contributions, state or national park entrance fees, food, etc.?

I understand that any events and contributions or fees will be my responsibility, and I will not attend or accept invitations to those that I am not financially capable of covering. I have sufficient gear for almost any situation and acknowledge that bringing the appropriate gear is also my responsibility. For most situations I do not have gear to cover another and will not burden another with the lack of my own poor preparation, however I will share what I bring with me if the need arises.

Outdoor activities can be risky and you are responsible for your own gear and safety. Do you understand that you participate at your own risk, are responsible for your own safety, and release the organizers from liability?

Yes, I will not participate if I think something is unsafe or too hazardous

Do you understand that if you NO SHOW(sign up and do not show up or cancel within 24 hours of event), you will be removed from this group?

I am perfectly willing to accept the consequences of my actions or inactions. 3 no-shows and I'm gone.

What types of hikes would you most enjoy with the group? EASIER (6 miles and 1,000’ gain or less); MODERATE (6-9 miles and 1,000-2,000’ gain); or ADVENTUROUS (10 miles and more than 2,000’ gain or more)

One day hikes of any length, any altitude, prefer adventourous, but willing to go shorter if especially scenic or passing fishable waters.
