What we’re about
For builders, founders, devs, operators, and domain experts who are using AI to solve real problems - today, not someday.
This group is for people actively building, experimenting, migrating legacy systems, validating startup ideas, and wrestling with unsolved challenges - not just exploring AI trends.
### What We Do
- Discuss projects: Bring what you’re working on - early concepts, stuck points, architecture questions, hallucination issues, go-to-market uncertainty.
- Discover solutions: Crowdsource insights from peers who are also deep in the trenches, from devs to strategy-minded founders.
- Find partners: Meet co-founders, early collaborators, or domain experts who complement your skillset.
### Why This Group Is Different
Most AI meetups focus on presentations, finished demos, or broad “state of AI” discussions.
This group is about the messy middle - the place where ideas are forming, legacy systems need modernizing, accuracy matters, and strategy is still being shaped.
No slides. No lectures. Just real builders working through what’s next.
### About the Organizer
Tom Benedict brings over 15 years of experience building complex financial systems and more than a decade supporting startups through growth, architecture, and strategy challenges. Over the past three years, he has developed numerous AI-powered systems and conducted thousands of hours of hands-on experimentation across model architecture, hallucination reduction, retrieval pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and applied business strategy. His focus is helping builders move faster - both technically and strategically - as they navigate the rapidly evolving world of AI.
