ETHOS: We are about support, safety and healing for those of us who have experienced emotional/psychological abuse (sometimes accompanied by physical abuse) from a family member, partner or other trusted person.

MEMBERS: We meet about once a month at a private location and you are welcome to bring a +1 to our meetups. For the safety and privacy of all, members who have not come to a meeting 2 months after joining will be removed from the group.

OUR POSITION: Narcs can't and won't change because personality disorders are fixed. If you agree with that viewpoint, or are open to it, you'll find this a great place to learn, share and grow with others at various stages of healing. If you disagree, you probably need to find support elsewhere before you join us.

ORIGIN: I started this monthly meetup because I had a traumatic 2-year relationship which lead to PTSD, and every other PTSD group out there was for physical trauma, either at the hands of a partner/family member or through military service.

ABOUT ME: I am not a therapist. I am an HR consultant with extensive experience in adult group facilitation, with Bachelors degrees in Communications & Psych and a Masters in Org Psych. Again - not a therapist, but I have been a therapy client. :)
