Did you know that animals speak to us every day? They bring messages and advice to us when we need it – all we have to do is listen. That fox, or snake, or hawk, has crossed your path on purpose, with the message that is specific to that animal. The ancient peoples all over the earth never separated the physical from the spiritual, but we as Americans have put emphasis on the left brained practical march in life, and have divorced ourselves from the wonderful connection we have with all living beings. This class will reveal some of the wonderful messages that come with animals. We will all get to draw an animal card and learn about ourselves. It’s not only fun but it’s amazingly insightful – a tool that can be used daily to focus our attentions on positive paths.
My business, Sue Lion : ink, is a full-service graphic design studio, from annual reports to ads to children’s books, using illustration as well. I have helped clients from healthcare, high tech, and the environmental sectors and a lot of small businesses. I realized how important symbolism is in logo design, so when I became very interested in the spiritual attributes of animals years ago, I incorporated symbolism to accent the meanings of the animals. In fact, my whole line of drawings include insightful images and poetry, promoting hope and a positive walk on the earth. Over time, I have completed 100s of drawings and pastels, of different sizes and subject matter.
I believe all things are connected. No matter what our interests, or careers, or families, or experiences are, we can be open to the immense knowledge and insightfulness of all things living. I look forward to introducing you to the wonderful spirits of animals.
