Gwilda Wiyaka,a dynamic woman of mixed heritage, has studied shamanism for almost forty years. Gwilda has been a practitioner for twenty-five years, and a teacher of the shamanic arts since 1996. She has also has studied with American Indian healers from many traditions and has also also received training in Tibetan, Core, and Celtic Shamanism.
Gwilda is founder, director and owner of Path Home Shamanic Arts School, a Colorado state- certified occupational school of the shamanic arts created to train and certify shamanic practitioners and instructors. located in Berthoud, Colorado. In addition, Gwilda is also a preceptor for the University of Colorado School of Medicine, providing instruction to medical doctors on the modern interface between shamanism and allopathic medicine for the University’s Complementary and Alternative Medicine course elective.
Her private practice is focused on reconnecting her clients with their natural expression and personal power through the use of shamanic healing. Gwilda also provides long-distance shamanic healing sessions with her national and international clientele via telephone and internet. She is an author and an experienced inspirational speaker and singer/songwriter. She is currently writing a book on shamanism as an evolutionary tool.
