About Mindfulness Exercises Mindfulness Exercises are quick, powerful techniques to reduce stress based on current breakthrough research in neurophysiology emphasizing the mind-body connection. Through Mindfulness Exercises we empower you to discover for yourself how your thoughts and feelings are connected to your body’s biochemical and brainwave states through simple, yet powerful 20 minute daily exercises to foster Alpha Intelligence; the seamless flow of connection between thought and intuition.
Contemporary science and current day pioneers have made tremendous discoveries about certain activities and emotional states associated with brain wave patterns. • Beta is our normal thinking state • Alpha is associated with peace, calm, reflection, self-discovery, mind-body balance • Theta is active during deep meditation, creative inspiration and experience of spiritual connection • Delta is sleep state, when present with other brainwaves, reflects intuition and empathic knowing The combination of Alpha, Theta and Delta brainwaves are present during deep meditation. Alpha is the bridge that allows us to integrate the deep sense of peace, intuition, creativity and spiritual connection into our waking mind. We now understand that we can achieve these states utterly independent of rigor, religious structure or lineage. It is accessible, measurable and just as beneficial.
Benefits as described by graduates: Skill in handling unexpected situations More focus and mental flexibility Increased creativity Greater intuition and insight Fewer health problems and better ability to deal with health problems if they occur Increased emotional stability and less overall stress Heightened spiritual awareness Gentle relaxation and serenity Periods of ecstasy and bliss Improved quality and quantity of sleep Improved relationships Greater self knowledge A heightened sense of being present, fully awake in each moment.

Mindfulness Exercises Policy Statement
Offering the free Meetups are our way to give back to the community to share this information and practices for free to as many people who want to embrace it.
Meetups are intended to support people who share a common interest in mindfulness practices. We teach and practice Mindfulness exercises in the Meetups. We share posture, breathing and fundamental mindfulness practices and some of the science that describes how the body mind connection works so everyone is empowered to recognize how to trigger this natural mechanism we each have to enter into a parasympathetic state through meditation.
We request support from all Meetup communities to help us by offering space or donating to offset our costs. If you have space or suggestions we would very much appreciate your support in identifying space.
We do teach courses. These are completely optional. We are offering a very effective and directed approach for those who want to establish a daily practice and really embed this process into their lives. It is an extremely good deal given those who sign up receive daily support from our mindfulness personal trainers. Since people who sign up for Meetups are self described as interested in mindfulness, we offer these courses to support them in their journey inside.
If you have questions about our free offer to sponsor local Meetups or the Telecourse, please contact Eric Knouse at 303-325-3143 or email me through the Meetup site.
Warmly,
Eric Knouse
