They are still counting the soldiers votes that came it, and it will still be so close that it will be a automatic recount, so no solid news until the end of the month. But as of now, she has won by FIFTEEN votes! Tell me that every vote doesn't count! (This came from BSC)
(Below came from Natalie)
I thought a recount might be a few days delay but that is not the case at all.
This is what I've learned based on county clerk's info.
All the following is data from Jeffco.
They are still tabulating @7000 provisional ballots, plus military overseas who have until Nov. 14th for a submission deadline, plus the problem ballot submissions where the signature is faulty and they have 8 days to fix them.
Nov. 23rd is the deadline for fixing or accepting all of the above. Then we get into recount, which we truly don't know who has to be recounted until we have firm figures. Then the deadline for all of the above is Dec. 6th. A requested recount can go longer but we don't face that condition at this point.
So to sum it up: I know nothing except that I envy those with wide spreads, unless the spread is the wrong way.
(I will try to keep everyone updated as things move forward. Just excited after more than four years of fighting the system we may have a big win. RTD is the third largest funded government entity in Colorado. To have even one board member is a great start.)
