You're right. I'm sorry, I just joined this group because I love Ron Paul. Let's not argue about the things that we do not have in common but rather focus on the things that bind us, the most important issues that we hold dear and the issues that Ron Paul is in support of. We can always argue about GMO's on the GMO free Colorado Meetup Group :) I've had enough arguments with my uber liberal friends. I joined this group to meet people who I have something in common with. Let's remember that and let's stand strong together instead of falling separately.

Unfortunately, none of this thread is specific to Denver, Colorado, Ron Paul, Campaign for Liberty, and/or the Republican Liberty Caucus. Please try to keep some focus on those semi-related topics.
At some point, I'd be happy to see discussion of local state-level bills relating to GMO labels; eg. is it fraud to label a tomato as such after you put fish DNA in it?
But right now, in the area of agricultural concerns, the State Legislature here is looking into industrial hemp -- not GMOs. There is a huge opportunity on the Eastern Plains to create lots of new jobs growing and processing hemp. Yet there is still nanny-statism creeping in to limit these "test" plots to 10 acres each, amidst seas of red-tape, with bureaucrats trying to create jobs for themselves instead of letting farmers do what they know how to do with limited interference.
Please help in this effort by keeping "colorado hemp" in your search fields over the course of the next month (the Legislature is supposed to be done by May 8th.)
Thank you for your time.
