I like writing scripts because they can either be funny, action pact, dramatic, or investigative scripts. For example Myst is an investigation video game in which you go through and try to piece together a shattered family past, and fight for the future of an ancient race, plus you decide the fate of everyone in the end. I also like doing crossovers, in which I have an idea, and I can take that idea, add on, or do whatever as a personal thing to me. I was doing a little screenwriting, and I tried to get into a school news paper with it but couldn't because it was such a long script, so it never made it in. I want to try and get focused on writing a screenplay that I can shape and mold into what I want without anyone messing with it, and taking things out, and putting things in that shouldn't be in it. I love being the screenwriters meet up, because its fun to listen to people when they talk about something they're working on and getting inspiration from that.
I'm Amanda Cattell and you might say I'm interested in this meet up, because I want to improve my skills as a screenwriter, and make whatever I write as a novel into a movie or a script of an existing game that is really, really popular video game.
