Your Favorites... of everything C++

During this Meetup, I'm going to ask you to bring information about your C++ favorites.  I'm going to bring mine to get us started and we'll turn it into a show and tell where all of us are sharing our best ideas.  It will be the best of anything related to C++ development. We want to know the best editor, compiler, debugger, build tools, books, magazines, blogs, websites, podcasts, people to follow on Twitter, libraries, etc. The sky's the limit.

If you want to put a few slides together to convince us of why or how it's the best, that would be great too.  Or, if you just want to talk about it from your chair, that's good too.

I'm really excited about this one because I know I'm going to learn a lot from all of you.

Pluralsight is now an official sponsor so we'll have some swag to give away at the door as well.

    Ditto what Adam said. I came away from this meetup with a list of new resources I wasn't yet familiar with.

    I was a little worried with the lack of guidance in the topic, but it turned out to be one of the best meetings so far. I got the chance to learn a lot of useful tools and resources.

      Adam, I'm really glad you liked it. I'm hoping that over the course of the next few months, we'll get into some demos, presentations, and hands-on experience with some of the "Favorites" that we talked about.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
