I first started stealing my big brother's comic books, card games and RPG manuals when I was 11 or 12. He didn't want to share DnD with me so I got into oWoD (mainly W:tA) but he figured out what a great roleplayer I am later. I've done IFGS but it didn't stick. I've been to Nan Desu Kan a few times but decided to stop going because I'm not SUPER into anime and they started having attendance caps -- I didn't want some awesome cosplaying megafan to miss out while I took up a hotel room. Currently I run the W:tA game on an online game and have gotten into reading Fables about ten years too late. Also re-watching Farscape because why not.
Probably the same things I like to do with people anyway: hang out, talk, play some games. Meet friends who also like to do things OTHER than talk about Firefly but don't look at me funny when I talk about Firefly. Preferably I will meet geeks who like to think, like the guy I know who hosted an evening to explain in detail why he identifies as a brony, what it means to him, and selected particular episodes to explore bronitude with the uninitiated.
It might just be Anita Sarkeesian. Or Mike Rugnetta.
been in Denver for about 8 years but always into meeting new people. I am not short, I'm fun-sized.
