The Desert Shooters Group was founded to promote general practice, skill development, marksmanship and firearm safety. The group holds monthly firearm clinics, defensive tactics training, discussion meetings, social gatherings and other events. Whatever your shooting interest may be, we invite you to join us as we practice, learn, share, and discuss everything firearms. Beginning to advanced enthusiasts welcome! FIREARM SAFETY CLINIC:  The Firearm Safety Clinic is mandatory for all members before participating in live fire range sessions. The clinic is approximately 2 to 3 hours in length and covers basic firearms safety, range procedures and etiquette and required shooting equipment for a safe range experience. Safety clinics will be offered throughout the season to allow members the opportunity to be eligible to attend live fire range sessions. Please check the group calendar for Firearm Safety Clinic dates.

RANGE SESSIONS:  Some range sessions will be oriented for general practice and basic skill development. Other range sessions will be oriented to further develop skills based on information previously presented in the instructional clinics.  Special range sessions may be scheduled for those members who have little or no hands-on shooting experience.

Other dates may be added to our calendar as required based on the needs of the group. Proposed schedules are subject to change at any time without notice.
