Even in 1,000+ member groups there are very few people whom you really get to know as good friends. The problem is that most groups are open to anyone, so you end up with a large group, low participation, a lot of "no shows", and a bunch of people with nothing in common.
This is a group of awesome desis out of Chicago & suburbs and it is intended to be exclusive.
It is a smaller tight knit group making it easier to make friends not just acquaintances and intended to build genuine long lasting friendships while having fun at the same time. We enjoy a diverse amount of activities ranging from clubbing, desi parties, house parties, outdoorsy things, movies, dining out and anything fun!
If you decided to join and your membership is approved, please engage with the group, come to meetups, and help come up with ideas for events.
We are looking for the following traits in our members:

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
