• The entrance to the UN Conference Building is on the east side of 1st Avenue between 45th and 46th (see bottom of this description for a picture.)

• You MUST present photo ID in order to enter.

• Once you pass through the security scan, you will enter the main United Nations Conference Building. Signage and staff will be posted to direct you toward our room.

• The talks will begin promptly at 6:15pm, and will continue until about 8:25pm. After the event, we'll be hosting a networking reception with food and drinks in an unbeatable venue!

• A fireside chat with Jeffrey Zeldman and Jen Simmons on the Past, Present, and Future of Web & Interaction Design. Jen is Designer Advocate at Mozilla and host of "The Web Ahead", among other pursuits (http://jensimmons.com/about). Jeffrey's work has helped shape the web as we know it, with his full biography here (http://www.zeldman.com/about/).

• Verena Haller, SVP of Design at Related / Equinox Hotels

• Amber Cartwright, Design Manager at Airbnb

• Braden Kowitz, Design Partner at Google Ventures: Design Culture - Creating Workplaces Where Design Can Thrive

This month's event is being host in conjunction with the UN's Unite Open Source Initiative (https://unite.un.org/opensource) & Open Camps (http://opencamps.org/).

Design Driven is the largest design community in NYC. Each month, we host an event with talks from top-tier creative leaders from emerging and established companies. The event is organized by FirstMark (http://firstmarkcap.com/), an early-stage venture capital firm.
