SUMMER OF DESIGN 2016-REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Are you spending the summer in DC and want to meet and interact with fellow design thinkers and innovators? Are you ready for something different? Do you want to use design thinking to change and impact the community right here in DC? Join us this summer and apply design thinking to a real-world, local problem!
Together we will grow our creative capacity, learn new tools to jump-start innovation and collaborate with local creative catalysts to make our world a better place. We are collaborating with an All-Star line-up of community partners including leading academic institutions, creative catalysts, government agencies and local businesses for our 2016 challenge.
During this year’s challenge, participants will have an opportunity to work with a major local university on health-related topics affecting citizens east of the River. We will consider how entrepreneurship and public-private partnerships can be leveraged in innovative ways to consider a new vision for a healthy population. Participants will present their ideas shark-tank style to a panel of Judges on August 3, 2016.
